Frank B. Gonzales is an artist from Queens, NY. USA, and has been in the artistic profession for the past six years. The artist was born in Mesa, Arizona where he underwent four years of training under master instructors Darlene Swaim and Jim Garrison. His outstanding ability was rewarded with a scholarship to the Laguna College of Art and Design.
The main subjects in Frank’s art are birds, foliage, plants, and nature in general. His works are a result of an exploration and love he has for nature and living and portray a sense of beauty and energy through the manipulation of design, color, and compositional elements. Frank gets his creative impulses and inspiration from a number of sources - from the Old Masters to modern advances in graphic design, along with a number of musical compositions. “I like to challenge myself with every new work but ultimately I try to portray a sense of beauty or that feeling of energy you get when you really feel alive”, the talented artist tells us.
