Printer-friendly version

Partha Pal is an Indian photographer who was led into seriously taking up his passion for photography in 2001, by his wife who first discovered Partha's tremendous talent. The photographer is inspired by people, nature and photographers like Salgado, Cartier-Bresson, and Nachtwey. “To me photography is the medium of expressing myself, my feelings to the world. It gives meaning to my existence,” the gifted photographer tells us.

Partha’s photographs have appeared in publications such as Popular Photography of New York, Hindustan Times, Penguin book covers, Sanctuary Asia, and leading photography magazines like Better Photography, Times Journal of Photography, Asian Photography, and Smart Photography.

Partha has had exhibitions across the world and has won several awards such as the Grand Prize in Meaningful Travel Photography contest 2007, Runners Up in People Section of RITZ Camera Big Print Capture Your World Photo Contest 2007, 1st Prize winner in Photocomp Australia 2008, and Runners Up in Epson Colour imaging photo contest 2008 to name a few. A collection of Partha’s outstanding photos can be viewed below.

Partha's current photography pack: Canon 30D + 17-40 f/4 L USM Canon & Canon 30D + 17-40 f/4 L USM Canon.

Note: The images are the sole property of the photographer, and should not be used for any purposes without the prior consent of the photographer.
