David Lazar is a photographer from Brisbane, Australia, practicing photography for the past 5 years. David, who is primarily a musician, seriously took up photography after he completed a Master of Music in film composition in 2004. David's photography gained mileage when he started to travel extensively and display his travel photos online. His pictures were quick to grab attention and the photographer was soon approached to shoot for weddings, actor headshots, family portraits, and fashion shoots. Most of the photographer’s professional success came with shooting for actor headshot photos in his home studio.
David loves taking people shots most of all, followed closely by landscape and wildlife photography. “Architecture and abstract don’t interest me on the other hand. I love expressive portraits, and I like the idea of a photo having something that could not be captured again in the same way. I also love animals so it’s no surprise that wildlife interests me as well”, the exceptional photographer tells us.
What we love about the David’s photography is his wonderful intuition in capturing pictures with a unique aspect to them. David has had his photos appear on various publications, including the National Geographic and has won several photography prizes and competitions such as the Peregrine Images of the World Photography Competition 2009, Peregrine Images of the World Photography Competition 2008, Winner in Intrepid Photography Competition 2007, Intrepid Photography Competition 2006, amongst others.
